Count Abdulla indie Fudge Park has optioned Tyrell Williams’ football play Red Pitch to adapt for TV, Broadcast can reveal.
The indie has previously tied with Williams to produce his 2016 BBC3 short-form comedy series #HoodDocumentary, a mockumentary following a young ‘creative’ (Kayode Ewumi) living in the hood.
Red Pitch, which is currently undergoing its return run at London’s Bush Theatre, stars Kedar Williams Stirling (Sex Education), Emeka Sesay (The Power) and Francis Lovehall (Small Axe).
